Description and Similar Species: Wingspan 32-45mm. Distinguished from its fifteen congeners by its pale background colour, four white dots on the underside hindwing and a black spot in the anal angle, and by its small size though individuals above 800m tend to be larger.
Range: Endemic to Cuba.
Status: The commonest Calisto in Cuba and is widespread and common throughout the island from the coast up to 1100m.
Nectar Plants: Stachytarpheta jamaicensis, Bidens, Chromolaena.
Larval Foodplants: Paspalum lindenianum and other grasses.
