Description and Similar Species: Wingspan 44-52mm. Sexes similar. Usually slightly smaller than the two preceding species of Libytheana and can be separated from them by having the upper hindwing largely orange, and the forewing spots are also orange (white in Cuban Snout Libytheana motya and American Snout Libytheana carinenta).
Range: Found only in Hispaniola, Puerto Rico and Jamaica.
Status: A very rare straggler to Cuba. where it has occurred only once at Ciudamar, Santiago de Cuba Province in 1952.
