Description and Similar Species: Wingspan 36-42mm. A uniformly dark brown skipper showing a few small white dots on both wings.
Range: Endemic to the West Indies being found only in the Bahamas and Cuba.
Status: Rather uncommon though can be abundant in sugar cane plantations.
Nectar Plants: Bidens pilosa, Tournefortia hirsutissima, Stachytarpheta jamaicensis, Waltheria indica.
Larval Foodplants: Grasses including Sugar Cane.
